Videos in Youtube history that I've never watched?

I noticed a bunch of American Idol videos showing up in my recommendations, which is totally not what I'm into. I looked at my history, and found hundreds of American Idol videos that I've never watched. Like, even when I watched videos one after another, there were American Idol ones in between those ones that would have been impossible for me to watch, since I know I was watching the videos they were in between when I supposedly viewed those ones. What's going on?
