How to take photos from a childs point of view HEEEELPP!?
-
Okay so last week I asked about ideas regarding the concept "feel like a stranger" so I came up with the idea of taking photographs from a childs/babys point of view as everything in the world is new and foreign and stranger like to a child. none of these photos will include the child as I want the camera to act as their eyes so it''s kinda of from their eye-line so like first person view how they film shows like peepshow for example so i need ten ideas and currently I have six which are -the view of going down a slide with mum or dad waiting at the bottom -Sitting in the highchair with a spoon coming at the child -in the bath down at a lower level with rubber ducks around them -going to see the ducks at the park -view from a sing as mum or dad pushed them from the front -view of what the child sees as a plaster is being stuck on their leg/arm does anyone have ideas to help me out it'd be great if you do :D

I like your ideas so far and the whole child's perspective I think it's really interesting. How about a large dog walking up to the lens, have you seen how amazed children are at a great lumbering dog? Or a load of legs like a child i walking through a family party. I remember working my way through a load of legs like a forest at our house. It might be interesting to shoot a load of legs from various people too, usually they are not the subject. Ice cream? Like a big cone in a garden? I imagine the photo as the ice cream just filling the shot with an unfocused blur of green behind. The view from the back seat of a car, with the whizzing lights with a slow shutter speed and one of those kids toys stuck to the window. The camera would just be peeping at the base of the window like a child's head height. Behind the bars of a crib? Or peering over them through the gloom of the room at the gentle warm haze of the landing light? I remember doing that, feeling so lonely in the darkness and longing to get into that hazy light ahead. You could really experiment with the different lighting and exposure on your camera. Bubbles? I imagine a child staring in wonder at bubbles and I think all photos of them make you think of children and summer. Ok, I've pretty much exhausted all my childhood memories of things that left me in wonder when I was yay high. I hope I've helped to give you further inspiration. Good luck ;)

Go down a slide with your camera with someone waiting at the bottom Fasten the camera to the high chair. Put it on a timer and point a spoon at it. Fill a bath and put rubber ducks in and take a photo from just above the water. Take a low photo of Ducks at the park. Sit On a swing. Get someone to push. Take a pic. Get someone to stick a plaster on a child's knee and take a photo over their shoulder :) Good look!

I have an idea. If you can get a real toddler, get a person, preferably a female, and like, get the toddler to hold on to the person's fingers, and then get down near the toddler and take a picture from down, trying to get the toddler's arm in the shot. Without the toddler's arm in the shot, it won't work though. ***It’s Summer Time!
