Homeschoolers in the Marines?

Can you be in both Young Marines and the Police Explorers Program? Police Explorers Please Answer?

• I am a PFC in the Young Marines. I graduate honor recruit from boot camp. I joined the Young Marines because I was to young to join the police explorers program. Now I'm old enough to join the Police Explorers Program but I have come to love the Young Marines and the people in it. So I was wondering if I could join the Police Explorers Program and still be in the Young Marines. If it comes down to it I will choose Young Marines. The reason I want to do both is because I have a career path set up. I would like to go into the Marines for 3 or 4 years and have them help me pay for college. Then after I get out go into the Marines reserves and get my degree in Criminal Justice or a related field.After I get my degree I want to join the police force while I apply to join the U.S. Marshals. I want to be in the Young Marines for the military experience. I want to be in the Police Explorers Program for the police experience. My Young Marines group meets every other saturday. But we have field trips and fundraisers every now and then. The local Police Explorers Program meets every tuesday and I don't know anything about their fundraisers or field trips. So if any Police Explorers out there that can answers my question it would be much appreciated.

  No group can legally prohibit membership in another group, unless there are "religious" restrictions (e.g., gay and lesbian affiliation and groups adhering to religious rejection of homosexuality). Talk to leaders of the groups to determine if there are conflicting obligations of time.
