Why i Cant restore my iPod?

Why cant I restore my Ipod touch 4g to 5.1.1?

1.Its Jail broken 2.Its 5.0.1 and I'm trying to update it to 5.1.1 on my iPod but it says Software Update Failed : An error Occurred downloading iOS 5.1.1 3. On the computer its the same thing 4. If I try to reset it on the iPod it just keep loading but nothing happens..... Help please I want a fresh new iPod ... Thanks

Similar to mine but I fixed it. here's what you need to do. 1.Download tinyumbrella 2. Connect ipod /iphone 3. Click on the advance tab 4. UNCHECK the box that says something like"connect hosts to cydia" 5. Try the update now in itunes as normal. NOW you're ready to for untethered JB using Absinthe v2.

Its jailbroken. Restore it back to the offical firm ware, then update.
