How do i become a lactation consultant?

what would this job entail? how much would I make on average? are there many jobs? what type of schooling would I need? PS I live in CA I'm a Med assistant and very interested in RN in the future.

Go to the IBLCE website for information. There are not many jobs for a non RN IBCLC.
