What could could be my tongue has yellow stuff on top?

Tongue bar changed and now has white stuff?

• Iv had my tongue pierced for 7 days. And my piercer changed the bar this morning, its been fine all week until now, it doesn't hurt, there is not any blood and no swelling.. however there is a bit of white/yellow stuff coming from the top of the piercing but not the bottom, he put the smaller tongue bar in from the bottom so i just wondered if its either an infection or just dead white blood cells and skin what he pushed through? Gross I know.. I'm quite a big worrier.. But i just want to be sure that its not infected. :)

  if there is yellow mixed with white then it is infected. Be really careful when it comes to this type of piercing! if you smoke as well you can get a real bad infection and it can be serious. If it doesnt hurt i would not worry too much, just keep rinsing your mouth out like you said you were. Maybe do it a little more just while there is the white stuff.
