Where Do I Place Google Analytics Code Inside a .ASPX Page?

How do I make my google analytics page show results?

  • I set up a google analytics page for a website. During the sign up process there was a code presented that it said needed to be copy and pasted some where. I didn't no where, and instead of copy and pasting, I exited the page and went on to my account. But when I opened my results page in google analytics, it showed zero traffic on the page which I know is incorrect. How can I fix this so I can see results? How can I get google analytics to regenerate that code and where should I copy and paste it once it does?

  • Answer:

Copy & Paste it into your webpage as a HTML code. Homepage > UA-Code Http://yourdomain.com/ > Your site name > Admin/your username > Tracking code. You should find it there. If you don't know how to add a code as HTML then I suggest you learning HTML.

Other answers

In order to view your website google analytics, you have to add the given code to your html code of your website. The reason behind adding code is to let the google know that its is your website and not someone else who is watching the website google analytics.
