PLEASE HELP - Xbox 360 Slim problem?
-
Hi, and thanks for coming to my post. My friend was over recently, and i wouldn't let him play my Xbox, because he has temper issues, and last time i let him play, he broke my controller in half. So after i rejected him for about the 20th time, he proceeded to rip my Xbox off my table, go over to my staircase, and kick it down 7 stairs. The sides of the Xbox (the vents) flew off, and i was able to put them back on. Also, the cover for the front of the disk drive came off (the black peice that says "Xbox 360" on it in silver lettering) and i was not able to snap it back on, but it doesn't seem like the Xbox would need that peice to function. Anyways, the disk drive is the real problem. The disk tray is stuck about halfway out, and it wont move. I could probably force it back into the Xbox, but if i did, it feels like i would break something. When i hook the Xbox up, it makes a noise like it's trying to pull the disk tray in, and it tries to do that for like 15 seconds, and then it displays the red ring of death (all 4 quadrants lit up). So what i would like to know is, is the red ring of death displaying because the disk tray isnt functioning, or is it because something has gone wrong inside the xbox? I have shook the Xbox and put my ear near it... there is no rattling so it appears that all the internal hardware is intact. But it will not display anything on my T.V. And the sound that it gives off when i plug it in is clearly the sound of the disk tray trying to pull in, (just incase you were wondering, i know that its not anything other then that. I recognize it clear as day). So if anyone can clarify why it's displaying the red ring of death (4 quadrants lit) and how i can fix the disk drive, PLEEEEASE let me know. I'm so desperate to play MW3 right now, im freaking out. Thanks so much for any help in advance, and if you have any questions, i will gladly answer them. Thanks for reading =)

Answer:
Well if the Xbox was on at the time you're friend grabbed it, it was possibly that, if you pick up an Xbox 360 when its up it seriously ***** it up. I would suggest taking it to a repair shop if you havnt already done that. Falling down the stairs probably messed with wires and other internal hardware and for the disk tray, either push and pull it in and out or like I said, take it to a repair shop. P.S. Don't play crappy MW3, Come play BF3 or Operation flashpoint with me and the more civilised people (no offence, its just when I play MW all I here is some whiney little ***** singing down the mic)

Well, this is probably not the answer you were looking for but I would KICK HIS MOTHER F**KING A**!!!!!!!. Make him pay for the cost of a new one and once he has done that, never let this scumbag into your home again. You need to grow a pair and teach this idiot a lesson.
