How do you block someone on Hotmail?

How to block someone from sending me emails on hotmail?

  • I don't want that person to send me emails on hotmail. I've added him to the block sender list but still I recieve emails but I found them in Junk folder. I don't want to recieve any at all I want that sender to recieve an email telling him that an error occured while sending this email not only to be in junk. I am using hotmail web. Thanks so much 10 marks best answer

Isn't one of the choices on filtering "delete email" instead of "place in junk"??

While you're in your inbox, on the left you've got the folders, right? Next to INBOX is a little "Settings" icon, click it, and add a new rule. With Hotmail rules, you can set your messages to be arranged, moved, or deleted as you want. While you're creating the new rule, enter the sender's email address, and set Hotmail to automatically delete any message sent by them. This way, you won't get any messages from them anymore.
