How do i set google as my default search engine?

• i accidentally downloaded something called "babylon" and it took over my search engine. now when i go to search something, it uses "babylon" instead of google and it's getting really frustrating! i'm using google chrome. please be as specific as possible! thank you!

  When you launch Chrome for the first time after installation, a bubble near the omnibox appears. It emphasises that you can search directly in the omnibox with the default search engine Click the spanner icon on the browser toolbar. Select Settings Click the Basics tab and find the "Search" section. Select the search engine that you want to use from the menu. If the search engine that you want to use doesn't appear in the menu, click Manage search engines. In the Search Engines dialogue that appears, select the search engine that you'd like to use from the list. Click the Make Default button that appears in the row.Good luck.
