How do you change your avatar's gender on Yahoo?

Why won't Yahoo avatars let me change my gender?

  • I'm a girl, and when I try to change my avatar's gender from male to female, it won't let me.

  • Answer:

    It's just a glitch. Instead of clicking the button over and over try changing it manually instead. Click Preferences (extremely small font at the top right of the screen above the tabs). You can change your avatar's gender there instead of using the button directly underneath the avatar.

I had the same problem. I discovered it was because of the brower I was using (I use google chrome). So when I made an avatar on firefox it worked perfectly fine. Try doing that. Oh, and @ Jasmine:) Avatars always start out as a male. Whether you're female, or not.
