Losing weight from parkour?

I weight 260lbs and 5'9 1/2. I have been recently practicing parkour. And i have lost 4lbs, i use to be 264lbs. I can do some side vaults,roll, and soon the kong. I am nervous about the kong though. And i have been practicing the wall run, but i keep pulling the muscle where my abs should be. The wall is 7ft tall. And whenever i percision jump, it hurts my lower stomach like a pulled muscle. I talked to a friend and they said i pulled my ab muscle. It doesnt hurt much anymore. I do run laps around my neighborhood, an practice parkour at a nearby park. I want to lose 60lbs this summer. Any advise i should do besides continue practicing what im doing?? All advise would be great! :)

you did pull a muscle in your abs. a precision jump uses the same jumping technique derived from a back tuck and uses a lot of abs whether you use it or not. My suggestion is to see if they have a gymnastics gym in your area, if so they most likely have a parkour class. My suggestion is to do back tucks at that gym. Its the best workout for your abs
