What is the font used to write "Ellen" on the Ellen Degeneres show?

Ellen Degeneres seems kind of rude, limelight hogging to guests, anyone else notice it?

  • I used to sort of like her show but the audience first started to bug me because they are so loud screaming all the time and it is annoying and I think aspects of Ellen's show are funny (like the dancing behind strangers at stores/places or the glamor pictures) and while I also enjoy some of the guests she has on (recently, Russell Brand, and the 2 little British girls) I can't help but find Ellen's antics off-putting. She tries to shut down obvious comedians (Brand, and others) from being their normal, funny selves (and in a setting like her show, it seems only appropriate for them to get some comic screen time its not like a news interview) It comes off as Ellen being jealous or unwilling to share time being "funny".. when the audience laughs hard at any adult guest she seems uncomfortable, will fake laugh but then tries to hone it in back to her being funny. I am a sarcastic, blunt person and I totally understand that humor but often Ellen is like that like ALL the time or inappropriately to guests (both stars and us "laypeople". She seems condescending and rude often and I know I spend too much time analyzing but after Dr. Phil ends I usually am tied up cleaning or doing something and don't turn the channel so I catch the Ellen Show. Any thoughts?

I've rarely read something so ridiculous and far from the truth! Get a grip! You're probably not a fan of Ellen (which is ok, not everyone has to like everyone) but you come up with all these silly conclusions and negativity. About Russell Brand, she was just joking with him about what he will say next, cuz he has an image of being wild and unpredictable, and it's a daytime tv! He was aware of that and it was very funny! Ellen is nice, down-to-earth and most respectful person! And hilarious! That's why she is so popular, both with celebs and 'ordinary' people

Its her show, she can do whatever the hell she wants on it. Apparently people like her.

She seems scared of controversy. But I always thought that was a normal American thing? Chat shows in the UK are alot more relaxed. 'You can say that on TV!?' is a sentence I've heard countless times by Amercian guests when they're on our TV chat shows.
