Verizon deposit question?
-
I have very poor credit (525 score). I went to verizon today and they only had me pay a $125 deposit. She asked if I was switching and I said I was switching from tmobile (a lie) and that I wanted a smartphone. So maybe that's why? I tried a couple years ago and they wanted to charge me a $800 deposit.

Answer:
Switching from one carrier means nothing for a deposit. The reason is likely that your credit (or at least proof of regular payment) has improved since the last time.
