How is iipm for doing mba?

Which is better for doing MBA? SRM or IIPM?

  • Hi, I'm very very confused...i'm going to complete my engg degree next month (B.Tech I.T) and i know i want to do mba but i'm not sure where to do it....Futher, i did not write CAT/MAT/XAT exams (i know i'm an idiot).... Now i'm confused as to whether join in either srm or iipm OR to prepare for CAT and decide after the results come but a complete year will be wasted in this.... PLEASE HELP ME by sharing ur views....and THANKS in advance:-):-):-)

    IIPM is a FAKE institute whose degrees are not recognized by any Government body like UGC.Preparing for CAT may cost you a year, but joining IIPM would cost you two years, money and your entire career.I can't understand why educated guys like you even consider joining something like IIPM.

i totally disagree with what sound says. I am currently working with IIPM (Not a IIPM passout) I too had the same view before. but after coming here and working i can really see the effort the institute puts in to make sure that the students get the best of industry exposure, the best faculty across India and also good job placements. Also let me tell you that the MBA degree that you would be getting would be UGC approved. IIPM is recognised by UGC no matter what anyone says. I have the accreditions to prove it. Also i have gone through the websites of SRM across India and found out that the college is well known for Engineering. Now tell me why on earth would you want to do your MBA from an engineering college. DUH!! Hope my views help you in making the right decision.
