Is the HP photosmart c4435 a good printer?

How to make a US HP Photosmart 564 Cartridge work in a South African HP B110b Photosmart Printer?

  • Hi Guys I bought the HP B110b Photosmart printer in South Africa. The Cartridge code was HP 178. During my holiday in the USA I saw my exact printer and bught the cartridges for it there. However they were call HP 564. When I install these brand new 564 cartridges in my printer here in SA, it tells me they are incompatible. How can I make these cartridges work and get my machine to accept them. Your help means a lot. Thanks

  • Answer:

HP customizes some products and cartridges to meet specific local customer needs. During your initial printer setup, the printer automatically set itself to accept cartridges specific to a country or region. If you take your product from that country to another country, you might not find cartridges with the same number on the label as your original cartridges. These cartridges will not work in your product even though they appear to be compatible with it. If you purchase cartridges that you believe are compatible with your product, and then try to install them, you might see one of the following error messages:. . •'Incompatible Cartridges' •'Cartridge Not Intended for this Printer' .•'Incorrect Cartridges' .
