How to transfer external data to XBOX 360 Hard Drive?

How do I transfer Xbox 360 data from one hard drive to the next without having both hard drives with me?

  Well, you're limited to 16GBs when you format a USB device like an external HDD and use that. If you have more stuff than that, look at what you do have. DLC can be re-downloaded from Xbox Live by going to the marketplace or to your download history. Most of the stuff you really need to move over like your saves are actually really small. I have tons of saves and games myself, but the saves only take up less than 1GB. That's the important stuff you really don't want to lose. They would fit onto a formatted drive. Your profile can be moved that way or downloaded from Xbox Live to the new 360. You should make sure your games are compatible with a 360 from a different country. A large majority of the world is under the PAL regional coding. North America, a few South American countries, and a few Asian countries are either NTSC or NTSC-J. Those games will not work on a PAL console so check before you sell yours.
