Can some one please help me with a facebook group?

LONG STORY BUT PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME GUYS...?

• Alright so here's the story... I was in some sort of a camp with a lot of international students. I met this guy, he's foreign. Let's call him Alex. Before actually meeting, we were in the same activity group and he stared at me ALL DAY, then that night came up to me, we met, he bought me a drink and we became close which is strange because we had just met. Anyways, I had a boyfriend who I was fed up with and gonna break up asap, and when I looked him up on Facebook I saw that he also has a girlfriend. Anyways, I didn't mind and he didn't seem like he did either, he was flirting with me all the time, following me around, giving me his jacket when I was cold, acting protective, offering me piggy backs when I couldnt walk with my heels, and so on.. Then, we were sitting at a party and he was texting his girlfriend, told me they were really getting along and stuff. I was kind of drunk, I got pissed off because I thought he was fcking with my head and he assumed I was avoiding him. I know this because my friend went up to him and asked him what his deal was, what he wanted from me. He said "I really like her but I have a girlfriend that I can't cheat on. From the moment I saw (me), I knew that we could be close, I want to be closer to her, get to know her." My friend was like "Do you want to kiss her or something?" Alex: "If I did, I'd just be some random guy for her." anyway so we spent the whole week flirting and hanging out but we didnt do anything (He'd sometimes hug me in the waist and stuff when dancing) Anyways.. We said goodbye, we're back in our homes now but we text everyday. We are exactly the same and he tells me this all the time. We have so much in common it's scary. He tells me I'm pretty, funny, smart, that I look like the most innocent girl in the whole world, that I am rare to find, that if only he could understand his girlfriend half of how much he understands me, that theres something about me that I can never be annoying, that I am the kind of person that he is really nice around even though he's normally not that nice but when with me he cant help it, that it feels so good talking to me and that when he talks to his girlfriend he gets angry but when talking with me he starts smiling, he needed comfort in one situation and I was there for him, he said "you helped more than my girlfriend did), he also said he cant wait to see me (he might come to my country this summer).. He also told me stories about his girlfriend which made it obvious that the girl is a s*lut and their relationship is not healthy at all (They used to be friends with benefits, she used to cheat on her boyfriends with a bunch of guys including Alex, when they were dating but it wasnt public she went on holiday and got with someone else, etc). He also told me he cant trust her 100%. I wouldn't expect him to. THEN, when theyre done with fighting, he tells me how much he loves her, how he couldnt stop kissing her when he finally saw her, how she is the love of his life, and bs like that, even sent me a pic of the red rose he got for her... His gf came to my city, and HE ASKED ME IF I COULD MEET UP WITH THE GIRL AND SHOW HER AROUND. WTF?!??! Of course I didn't meet up with the girl. I was mad the other day and posted a photo on facebook which was a written text saying "I am not a second fcking choice" and he liked it... still talks to me like nothings wrong and we're really good friends... he was mad at his gf one day and I gave him really good advice, he said "you know what? I love you" and like a minute later he wrote "youre the friend I never had", he sometimes gives hints and then friendzones me.. Please help me guys, I don't know what he wants from me, or what he's trying to do... Does he just see me as a friend? If so, why didn't he act like that and why does he say things that a friend wouldnt typically say? Is he just a player who is trying to mess with my head because he likes the attention I give him? Or is he trying to keep in touch with me but cant do much cause of the distance?? Please help. Thanks in advance..

  Sorry, but he just sees you as a friend. nothing more. He's keeping in touch because he considers you a BFF. But he does not have romantic feelings.
