How to track a lost iPod touch with no wifi?

  • I lost my iPod touch on Wednesday night, I thought it was still in my house when I realized I hadn't thrown it in the car, and when we got home my mom, dad, sister and me went CRAZY looking for it. We couldn't find it anywhere-the car OR the house. I thought it HAD to be somewhere in my house/car, but when I opened iCloud to use the Find my iPhone thing it said "offline", so I couldn't track it or make the noise or anything. Now I'm thinking it fell out of our car in the church parking lot, but my dad went and looked in the parking lot and the church lost&found, and it wasn't there either. Is there some way I could find it's coordinates without it being connected to wifi? Could I connect it to wifi without having the device? Basically, HOW DO I FIND MY IPOD?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Kthanks. Bye.

    I can't think of any way you'd be able to find it. Maybe if you get a Smart phone that can tether, you can host a wifi-hotspot on the phone and get your ipod to connect to it...

if someone has got it, after a while they will sell it or use it themselves i think, and then when they turn on WiFi, you can find it, so just keep checking it everyday
