How to delete questions that I asked before from Yahoo?

How can you delete old questions you've asked on yahoo answers?

  • i have old questions from 2+ years ago sitting on my account on yahoo answers and i wanna delete them, how do i get rid of them?

  • Answer:

You can only delete open questions yourself via the edit button. Resolved questions with a best answer and undecided questions in voting cannot be deleted by users and go into a database that can be used for searching. They can only be deleted by Yahoo!. The deletion of resolved questions with a best answer and the deletion of undecided questions in voting are covered by the Yahoo! Answers Team in http://suggestions.yahoo.com/detail/?prop=answers&fid=268102 Unfortunately, Yahoo! cannot delete anything that has ended up in Google and/or other websites.

go to the bottom of the question and there will be a link that says 'edit' or something, click on that then click delete question :)

Sorry, but you can't. You can only delete an open question. If a resolved question is a community guidelines violation or if it contains personal contact information then the Y! Answers Team might delete it upon request (send a link to the question along with your request to [email protected]).

You can only do that if it's Your question and not yet in voting. Once a question has been resolved it becomes the property of Yahoo answers and cannot be deleted. That is part of the rules of the site which you agreed to when you signed up.
