Xbox 360 Issues and Problems?

• I've had both models of the Xbox 360,The slim and the fat.The fat gave me alot of problems I spent close to $350 dollars total in fixing it within the first six months and still gave me a huge amount of problems.Then I decided to give the xbox a second chance and got the slim 2 weeks after its launch.That was a different story all together as it destroyed 2 of my cd's in a week.I've had the ps 3 for 4 years and it has given me little,close to no problem at all.The online gaming is free and the controller is very standard and easy to use unlike the xbox controller.I returned the xbox 360 slim.But now the xbox 360 caught my interest again when I began to see the new special edition consoles.And exclusive multiplayer content such as the new free maps For COD MW3 .Am looking to buy the new gears of war 3 console.Because I've also being eying that game.But the xbox 360 has loads of problems.And here in Nigeria where I currently reside we have issues with power and the power goes off at inoppurtuned moments.My ps3 has been able to handle that for 4 years now but am not sure if the xbox360 can.I also want to get the kinect but heard about the facial recognition issues.Because I'm a tan skinned user.So I wanted someone to list all the possible problems which I can encounter while using the xbox 360.The ps3 to me is currently the best gaming console to me.But I want to see if I would be able to handle the problems of the xbox 360.I dont want to waste $600 on something which will give a truck load of problems.

  360's generally only have problems in low ventilation areas and when stood up vertically.
