How to get hydrolyzed wheat protein?

How do they separate maida from wheat after it is ground?

• When I searched in google about maida I found the under mentioned explanation: "Typically, all cereals have grains which are covered by husk. The husk removed first and we have the plain grain. It has three layers : 1. The outer protective brown coat is called the Bran. It constitutes about 12% of the weight of the whole grain and consists of cellulose & minerals. 2. The next layer is a very thin one – it is called Aleurone and is firmly attached to the bran 3. The core – 85% of the weight of the grain – is the Endosperm. It contains protein and starch. The germ or the embryo is rich in proteins fats, vitamin E and vitamin B1 or thiamine". Does that mean that for our household consumption when we grind whole wheat in a flour mill to prepare chapatis, indirectly we also consume maida because we get a fine flour out of the whole wheat? I would appreciate if I can get an answer to my query.

  yes if u grind whole wheat ina flour mill at home u will have maida in it......certainly....and if u want to separate it and u can do that as well at home...this is what my granny used to do.....take the wheat in a double layered malamal or double layered crepe cloth and ask some1 to hold it from the two ends and use ur hand to move and press the wheat into the cloth like a filter and u will find the clear white maida falling under after this filtering procedure...try it and u can see it urself :)
