Just got a fax/printer/scanner, do I leave it connected to the phone?

MY PHONE CREDIT VANISHED??!!!!?

• Well I topped up my Samsung Galaxy Ace S5380 at Tesco £10 I took it to school the next day come back home and dialed 4444 to find out I only got £5.08 then I though leave it UNTIL today I only got £1.03 left and I only used my internet at home where im connected to WiFi and only used Whatsapp and Viber to call and text Im on Pay as you go by the way and it may be a backgrouund internet stemming from whatsapp, Play Store, Norton, AVG or something like that please could you help me out im new to smartphones and this is my first android. :)

  maybe you should check whether your data network is active or not (as far i know it suck credit). check it in phone setting > wireless & networks > mobile networks > data network (untick this option)
