Is Paragon Financial Solutions LLC Legit?

Is this a legitimate medical bill from Billing Solutions, LLC?

  • I received treatment from an ER for alcohol poisoning in October. I received a bill from the ambulance (EMS) company and a bill from the hospital, which are both payed off/financed. I just received ANOTHER bill from "Billing Solutions, LLC" -- 36 Highmore Drive, Oswego NY 13126 They have the date & location & "ER" detail from my visit on the bill. The bill is for $35. It says it was billed on behalf of "Emergency Medicine Associates, P.A., P.C." I paid the bill (stupidly, without checking out the company first) out of fear because it said my account was delinquent (since I haven't paid it since October---I dont know if they actually sent me more before this because I was at school up until a few weeks ago and if they were sending them, they would've sent them to my home address). The hospital says I should have received a bill separate from my physician, is this it? Or was that some sort of scam? I canceled the card I used to pay just in case, but I want to know if this Billing Solutions, LLC is legitimate or not.

  • Answer:

the er drs. also have a bill...if you've not paid it, then this is where they go to get their money.

If someone sends you a bill like that, you need to send co piss (not the original) of the receipt and tell them it's paid. To answer your question though, you should check out the company with the Better Business Bureau.
