Is it true that sleeping on your stomach is bad for your heart?

Could it be Heart Failure?

  • I've been the doctors and hospitals so many times over the past years and am always left undiagnosed that I'm just embarrassed to go back anymore. Plus is super expensive with no insurance. I'm 30. I have been sick unto death for years. I've had an MRI, a cat scan, EEG, EKG, and other tests (when i had insurance). All clear. However, I had an episode with my heart a couple of years ago. It felt as if it fisted up, my surroundings went "white", and I almost fainted. I was very sick for a day or so afterwards. After that episode my heart was feeling as if it was trying to have another one. The rapid heart beat, the nausea, the shortness of breathe and pressure. I raced to the hospital, my heart rate was very high, and was told I was suffering from anxiety and to stop doing whatever was making my heart rate go up. Before this started happening with my heart I was suffering from major leg and feet swelling. My stomach was also very distended, and still is very distended, which is why I'm writing now. I mean, very distended. Some days it's worse than others. I'm also wondering if this onset of sore throat and the loss of fluent verbal ability is related? I can't talk right anymore, and sometimes it is hard to swallow. It's so bad people have a hard time understanding me and think I just have hearing issues. I also have a lot of trouble with my muscles, which has been one of my main complaints. I'm fatigued terribly and have a lot of problems with my skin such as rashes, discoid and others. I was very suicidal when I was younger. I over dosed on Tylenol to the point of death, sleeping pills twice, aspirin. I did a lot of bad drugs. I really believe I have heart trouble. The symptoms of fatigue have eased up since I stopped eating refined sugar, but my stomach is still distended, and I get winded with short walks. I've been accused often of being confused at work, and just don't have good mental clarity. I'm tired.

You should go to the emergency room if you feel that sick. Can you apply for medicaid for low income people, medicaid is a medical program for poor people, you should apply, and do it as soon as possible. You qualify base on your income, also if your disabled you might get disability. Do yourself a favor go to emergency room, if your sick, you might have congestive heart failure. Google medicaid for your state, its an entitlement program based on need, and since you mention you don't have health insurance you may qualify. Good luck I myself am very sick right now, some of the symptoms you have I have, I take a water pill to help. peace I forgot to tell you that I have a hard time swallowing, it sucks, all of a sudden this started happening to me like 3 or so months ago, even before that, I assumed it was my blood pressure medication. You really need to get some help, if its really this bad, I am one to talk, because I am experiencing the same symptoms as you, but I am taking a water pill right now, to help alleviate these problems. I am poor so I get disability, and medicaid to help pay for my medications. I am a diabetic on insulin, also. Once again take care of yourself, and believe it or not people in this world care about other people and I wish you the best. Get the help you deserved, you have paid into the system with taxes etc, like I have. Oh and don't feel ashamed of getting the help you need, your saving your own life, that is the important thing to remember and getting medicaid and getting the help you need is more important then anything else. So don't feel shame. Be well. maybe you could be a diabetic, *based on you statement that you have cut out the refined sugar. It could be anything though, and if you can apply for the medicaid asap, you may get to see doctors to help with your medical issues. One more thing, sometimes you may even be able to get emergency medicaid as well based on your medical conditions. Apply and appeal if your denied. Going to an emergency room, will help save your life too if you have a medical emergency. I am stubborn, and I have swallowed my pride to get the help I needed. I want to live and not die,and will never take life for granted again. Just wanted to say that things will always get better. And if things don't seem like they are the best right away they will be.
