My throat glands feel hard and swollen. Is this normal?

Swollen glands in throat, but I feel fine?

  • So because of my allergies acting up around this time of year, I got a nasal drip, which led to a small sore/scratchy throat. This only lasted a matter of 1-2 days. But, my glands in my throat are still sensitive, and hurt if I look up with my neck. Now I know I don't have strep throat, as I would still have a much more painful sore throat.mjust curious to know why this is happening. Ps, I feel perfect, like I do not feel sick at all, so that is why I think this is weird.

  • Answer:

It takes time to get the swelling away, so if in doubt make an appointment with your doctor. Maybe he gives you some medicine or even antibiotics so the glands will get back to normal size..
