Is there anyone who knows much about hacking a hotmail account? I need help :)?

It sounds bad but it really isnt haha, I emailed part of an assignment from uni to my partners old account rather than her new one and she doesn't know the password for her old one so I can't retrieve that part of the assignment :( Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
