How do you get rid of friends list on Facebook chat?

Facebook chat friends list?

  • What is the method Facebook uses to select the friends that appear in the Facebook chat list. Usually they are the same regardless of whether they are online or offline, but every now and then somebody who I regularly speak to will get removed form this list. Any ideas?

  • Answer:

    anyone who is loggged into thier facebook acount will appear online, it also has a history of the people you have talked to recently, they may or may not be online, but they still appear, if you havn't talked to them for a certain amount of time facebook will remove them from the list, or thye could of just simply gone offline or logged off

I am pretty sure it orders by online->offline and alphabetical by letter of FIRST name. Sometimes they may just glitch out and throw the person out of the box... Use the search function then.
