I am doing an I-Search paper on parapsychology?
-
So as an end of the year assignment, I have to make an I-Search paper(an MLA paper but we choose what we research). I'm researching if it is true or not. However, if it is not true, than I will find it to be a pretty boring paper, and if I find it is real, I would find it to be really interesting. If there is no real evidence though, than why are there so many studies and info on it? Why are there so many sites on it giving people help and practice to allow them to have supernature experiences like telepathy or an out of body experience? Is there any validity on this subject? I don't want to make a paper on a silly belief that has no proof to it, compared to a paper that has real information for strange, but proven phenomenons.

Answer:
Parapsychological effects are real. And, contrary to what some of those answering your question have said, there is a great deal of scientifically valid research that has been done on it. There are two books that will be very helpful to you, both by Dean Radin, Ph.D. The first is "The Conscious Universe" and the other is "Entangled Minds." But there are also several websites that will be useful. I will list those in the sources section below. Finally, for a distilled collection of data from four of the significant ESP research disciplines, you can go to my dissertation, which is at this URL: http://repositories.lib.utexas.edu/handle/2152/ETD-UT-2009-12-682 You will find chapters 5 through 9 especially helpful. Good luck!

All the studies found out it's not actually there. People kept wasting time and money studying it. Even today there are a few people wasting time and money studying it. But they're not finding anything.

I just answered your other question on this a few minutes ago. There is no reliable evidence. Most aspects of parapsychology have been disproved. I've spent a lot of time with parapsychologists and have delved at length into the subject. In the process, I have dealt with many fraudulent people. The few honest ones relied more on common sense and intuition than any paranormal abilities. I hate to say that the entire subject is invalid, but, if you need an evidence based topic, parapsychology is quite invalid. There is simply is no proof. --------------------------------------… Note: there is a lot of fraud and deception in this area. Even "legitimate" groups are often either ignorant of the scientific method, incapable of objective research, or deliberately fraudulent. It makes for good entertainment, and can help the superstitious feel better about things, but it has no scientific validity. Most psychics work on what is called cold reading. You can do a search on it. Others simply outright make stuff up. I went to a few meetings with a group who practiced table tilting. This is the supposed ability of spirits to move a table with people touching it in order to communicate with people. Because of my martial arts training, I could feel their deliberate pushing and pulling on the table to make it move. This was clear to me. It was made clearer when my deceased male cousin came through to talk to me. To this day, I still have no deceased male cousins. When I stated that, they quickly skipped over me and went to the next person, with a different spirit.

Despite what others may tell you, there is evidence that advanced classified technology exist today that is more than capable of carrying out any and all physical and psychological effects normally associated with parapsychology phenomenon. The classified technology is unlike any that has ever been developed by human beings. The exact origin of this technology is unclear, but I know for a personal fact that the U.S. government has full knowledge that this technology exists, and that its being used on a relatively large population of people around the world. I also know for a personal fact that the U.S. Veterans Administration health care professionals knows full well that this technology exists, how it operates, and why a population of between 3000 and 4000 human beings have been selected for an array of bizarre, brutally, and unethical illegal human experiments. The population of human test subjects is increasing almost weekly with new test victims. All anyone has to do is read on these forms what people are saying about strange and unexplainable events taking place in their lives, and with their health and their property to understand that something bordering on the unnatural is occurring. One of the principal objectives of targeting human beings by this technology is to develop effective military style interrogation techniques carried out by remote means, torturing and injuring both the body and the mind without leaving an obvious mark on the body. Another objective, among many, appears to be to determine which personality and temperament type survives the experiments (their breaking point) while other types simply give in, many committing suicide just to be free of the control, torture, and abuse. I have good circumstantial evidence to backup my claims, and better evidence could be had with little additional effort on the part of scientists and researchers. Scientists won't even examine the evidence, and by denying the evidence, they are guaranteeing that an ever increasing population of Americans will be denied their human and Constitutional rights, and be literally tortured to death. In every case where a victim of this atrocity attempt to go to court or before Congress to demand an investigation into this matter, the Government steps in and blocks all court proceeding by claiming state rights to keep classified information classified. What it amounts to is that the United States government, and other governments around the world, are perfectly willing to allow 3 or 4 thousand human beings be sacrificed to these experiments. I see this as: the government is involved in conducting these illegal human experiments and will not own up to it; or, they know the experiments are being carried out but they are powerless to do anything about it, and they don't want the American people nor do they want the rest of the world to know that American cannot protect its citizens. It is a tough call, but I believe that the American government is directly involved and freely allow these unwitting human test subjects to be denied their Constitutional rights to not participate in non-consenual human experiments. If you want "real" information and good evidence of an extraordinary phenomena based upon classified technology and clandestine human abuse, I can help you out. Feel free to contact me. Best regards
