Samsung galaxy s2 not geting full download speed?

Usually on my pc my maximum download speed is approximately 1Mb to 900kbps but when i try and download something from my S G S2, it barely reaches 300kbps, is there a reason for this? or is there any settings that i should check?

Sounds like it is your lan check to see if it is a 10/100/1000 connection if that's the problem you will have to install a better lan card. You could try to update the lans drivers that might help.
