What is the recording program similar to FRAPS?

Video Recording Program For Older Games (PC)?

  • Hello there :) Currently, I am wanting to do a playthrough of an old RTS video game called 'Jurassic Park: Chaos Island' (released in 1997, for Microsoft Windows). I require a video recording program, such as FRAPS or GameCam, to record game footage. Unfortunately, FRAPS (the full version) does not work (the yellow meter on the top-left does not appear, and it cannot record anything in-game), and, as for GameCam, well, it is insufficient, and not very nice for recording. Besides, I doubt it would work. Do you know of any other recording programs that might work on older PC games (pre-2000s)?
