Do guys still text back even if they arent interested?

  • basically me and this guy dont text anymore. We had been texting for about a month, then it kind of was on and off texting and now its basically nothing. He seemed really interested as he would always initiate conversation. He would never ask me out or anything and i kinda got bored so our convos just werent the same and vice versa. Anyway he text me the other day after a while without any texting, he asked if i had a red car cus he thought he saw me and so we text for a while. Its been about a week without any texting again. So i text him last night if he had a red bike cus i thought i saw him he says "why" and i thoguht i'd leave it a day to not reply so i dodnt seem to clingy or anything ( iwas just not gonna reply so it makes him wander why id asked that) but i text him back a moment ago saying " oh becasue i thought i saw you thats all" and then he replied kinda instantly saying, "O ok". So to me its seems as if hes not interested but in the past if a boy was not interested in me they just wouldnt reply, be he still does and almost instantly compared to me taking a day to reply! Why does he have to be blunt about it aswell? so why text back at all if your not interested surely its better that way

    No i don't. I "had" a friend. She was something like always cold with me, never understood me. So, we sorted out things and moved on. Now, I don't like to message her and talk to her even if we meet. By the way, I am a boy.

Dont assume he's passing his time, if he starts the convo he wants to talk with you, put more effort into the convos, play that out, if he txts you one day dont respond. Then respond a couple days later and repeat. It'll drive him crazy, it does for most of us. We want what isnt always available.

He could just wont to be friends, I have been texting this girl for a few weeks, and I have no interest in here what so ever. Although it will be interesting to hear what other people say about it. But i have been texting girls for years with no interest in hocking up, so possibly he just wants to be friends, but does not wont to text you a lot so that you wont think that he is interested in you. I have done this myself, where if I like talking to a girl but I don't wont to go out or anything, and I don't wont to send the wrong message, in a seance where I don't wont them to think I am interested in them, making them interested in me. So that's probably all he is doing. So next time you talk to him just say you have a boyfriend or something and he will think he is safe. Or if you wont him to be interested he might take it as a Challenge like some bull headed guys do. So basically to answer your question, no he is not interested, but you can possibly make him.
