Which is Better TEFL or TESOL certificate?

TESOL/TEFL Certificate help?

I know this may sound sort of stupid but what Bachelors degree should I do before getting a TEFL certificate? On the University of Glasgow's web page it says that I would need a Bachelors degree in English, Education or a similar subject. If anyone could tell me what other Bachelors degree I could possibly get besides English or Education then it would be most appreciated.

You can do any subject! You will make more money if you have a teaching qualification and it may look a bit better on your CV if you actually studied English, but it really doesn't matter. I did Central and Eastern European Studies at Glasgow Uni, did my online Tefl course a few months ago and now I'm off to China in two weeks! (And that was the first job I applied for, it's really easy!) Also if you live in Scotland you can get the ILA grant which covers most of the cost of the TeflScotland online course.
