How to find and e-mail people?

How do people with my email find my YouTube channel?

  • I'm trying to upload a video but I only want people who have my email to be able to find it. How do they find it using my email? YouTube gives the option of only letting people who have my email find me, so I know there's a way to do it. I just don't know what it is x_x So how do they find it? Thanks!

    Set your videos to UNLISTED, and give the links to people that you want to share. Any videos will be visible to everybody if it's PUBLIC, (even they don't know your email). These are my unlisted videos for your reference. On the Video managment section choose to Edit the video you want to share with your friends. On the Edit page, on privacy settings, choose Unlisted. Doing so will provide you with a link that you can email to people you want to view your video. This is the only way i know of, and its alot simpler than setting it to private, and the person receasing the link from youtube, people overlook these all the time.
