Can you help pick out parts for my 07 Rmz 250?

I need help with new computer parts, Motherboard and Graphics Cards?

  • With my current PC being an eMachine ET1161-07, I upgraded to 8GB RAM(the max) and I also installed a Galaxy MDT x4 video card into it. I've been getting into PC gaming more and I'm finding that my PC specs just aren't doing it at the moment. I'm feeling that I need to pick up a graphics card, but which one? Also, what's the difference between a graphics card and a video card (if there is one). I'm not sure if I will need a new video card with the same outputs, just at a higher quality, OR my motherboard is the issue. Could it possibly be my processor? Money isn't a specifically big deal, but I'd love to keep the total under $700. (I'm not sure how costly it would all be, but it could definitely go over that. Thanks to anyone and everyone for their help.

    You did not mention your operating system bit..If you are using 32-bit, and you installed 8GB memory, then its useless..32-bit OS won't read 4GB and up, even you installed 8GB. It will only read 3GB below. You need to make your OS to 64-bit so it can read 4GB to max capacity of your board (some boards until 16GB of memory). But there is a disadvantage when using 64-bit, not all apps out there or games is compatible with 64-bit OS. So you will consider that. As for your grapchic card, ATI is a great combination with AMD processors. Just like yours..I recommend ATI grapchic card. BTW, grapchic card and video card is the same..

If you have a max budget of 700 it would be a complete waste upgrading that old computer and you'd be way better off building a new one
