How do I enable port 3074 on a Westell router/modem?

• I connect my Ethernet cable to my Xbox 360 like always, to play online but lately my internet connection has been running extremly slow. So i got to my system settings and test xbox live connection and it tells me that my 360 can connect to the internet but will have problems playing online , chating with freinds , joining games session , etc. So i look at some suggestions and on one of them it tells me that i can Enable my UPnP. Or i have to enable port 3074 . So that's pretty much my question , how do i enable port 3074. Very new to this subject. Also it told me that i have a moderate connection, that's why i have to either enable UPnp or enable port 3074.
