How to open current activity with android notification?

Android notification issues!!!!?

• hi, i have the htc one x and im having some trouble with the notifications system. i downloaded a new sms app (handset sms) and made it the default. i liked it for a while then decided to return to the stock sms app. i began receiving double notification, one from the stock sms app and one from the systems notifications. i tried to install a new sms app (chomp sms) and make it the default but still i get a notification from the app and the stock notifications. it seems like no matter what i do, i get 2 notifications and its driving me CRAZY. the only thing i found that works is if i turn off notifications from any of the sms apps and just use the systems notification but that means that ill have the same notification sound for EVERYTHING (facebook, gmail, sms, etc..) and that's just annoying. Please help me fix this. thank you in advance!

  The solution to this is simple. First of all, reinstall Handcent, open the settings and under Application Settings, press Default Messaging application to make it the default. Now, open the stock messgaing app (the one that came with the phone), press menu, open the app settings, scroll down to Notifications and turn off the apps notifications. Now, you'll only see them from Handcent.
