How to replace blower motor resistor on a Nissan Sentra?

'02 Nissan Sentra Heat & A/C only blow on 4 NOT BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR?

  • So this problem has been going on for a while now and I just got around to picking up a resistor because that's what everyone says it should be. When I snapped the wiring into the new resistor and tested it, I still get the same problem; the A/C and heat only blow at full power. Any ideas?

  • Answer:

Check the resistance at the blower motor when you change the speed on the knob. If you get infinite resistance at 1 2 and 3 replace your AC head unit.

your old resistor would of had a burned spot on it if it was bad.
