Promoting Music help?

Designing a 16 page rock magazine....help?

• So I'm a graphic design student designing a 16 page magazine, dedicating it all on 70-80's rock music. I'm going to a "rock chick" eye make-up tutorial, I'm creating mini posters of certain rockstars, I'm promoting t-shirts that I'm going to design myself and advertising that in the magazine. Ive also drawn rockstar caricatures, and I dont know how to put that in a magazine Any suggestions of what else I should do???? any help would be terrific. thanks!! :)

  That's great. Congrats. Maybe add some articles about the life of members of the bands, but based in true facts, and comments on how they influenced other bands or musicians with their work. All that in addition to the gossip, where you add the caricatures.... real pics should go in the true facts section. The cover picture should be related to the main article in the centerfold and the more 'scandal' you make, the better. Find info in wikipedia, pics through the web, very old articles to get ideas from. make comparations between different styles of the genre (what they now call subgenres).
