  of course.. i'm doing aero myself, and there are many girls on my course.. what is stopping you ? did you know all the female astronauts at Nasa are qualified aerospace engineers? :) it is a very interesting field, and it's not the stereotypical guy thing where we work on aircraft in a hangar with greasy fingers. it's a very respected profession, and very diverse.. with the knowledge and skills you gain on this degree, you can apply it into any industry, such as automotive, mechanical, marine, power systems, and even finance &banking (for numeracy). traditionally it was regarded as a man's field, but more and more women are entering the field, which is a good thing, so do what your heart says .. and new career paths will open to you once you graduate. good luck:)
