Can i put a metal rim around the deck of my skateboard so i won't get anymore dents or scratches on it?
-
i bought a long board skateboard and i only use it to ride and nothing else. i already got a few small scratches and dents on the top front and the back end. i was wondering if i can put a aluminum sheet around the deck of my board to help prevent anymore dents or chipping but how could i get one and cut it out and stick it to my board without nails or screws.

Answer:
It is possible, but not wise. That band will likely come loose after the first major impact, and can become a major cut hazard.
