How to create an external table for hbase?

How do I reference a larger table in Microsoft Excel to create a smaller table?

  • I am creating report templates that would allow me to basically paste a pivot table into a spreadsheet and have certain values from that table appear in another smaller table on the same spreadsheet. I have mostly been using vlookup to get the values I need. However, this is my problem: If there a range of data A5:F35, with the F column showing percentage values, how do you construct a formula to pull certain rows from the larger table BASED ON THE PERCENTAGES and have them appear in the smaller table. For example, In the large table that is being referenced, Lets say I want only the rows with percentages between 75% and 85% to appear in the smaller table. I want to do this without copying and pasting anything over. I just want to drop the large amount of data in and let the template do the rest. I know that it must be some combination of VLOOKUP and IF functions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You can use the 'advanced filter' feature to solve the problem. Link given below. P. S. You can use a simple loop macro also to solve the problem.

You dont have to do that, the old copy and paste works just fine open both files select data from the one you want to copy. Then copy and paste to area you want the data in the smaller table done.
