Is there a cure for Nasal congestion?

Best thing to cure severe congestion. Help....?

• It started with post nasal drip yesterday.. now my throat isnt as sore but my nose is very congested.. i have to blow my nose ever few minutes i have lots of thick light yellow color mucus coming out. also when i cough i have mucus stuck in my chest.. whats the best thing to cure my severer congestion??. thank you

  As a medical professional I recommend the following......A bowl of hot water, sittig down and drape a towel over your head and BREATHE IN THE MOISTNESS OR.....Sit on a chair with the back of it facing you, lean over and have your mom/friend, do the 1,2,3 pats and repeat..This action DOES loosen the chest congestion and has to EXPECTORATING/BRINGUP the MUCUS that has ADHERED to the INTERIOR OF YOUR LUNG LININGS. With the pats, the pressure has to be such as to LOOSEN the congestion. Try putting a towel across your back to soften the pats. REPEAT AS NECESSARY. LEAVE THE ICE CREAM/MILK ALONE as it INCREASES MUCUS IN THE THROAT LEADING TO THE LUNGS...May this assist you to feel better. Have a good nite.
