What is a good summer job?

What would be a good entry level summer job/internship for a person going into criminal justice?

  • This question is a bit obscure, but I wanted some input as to what would look good on a resume later on. Currently going to school for forensic science, but showing/having experience in the criminal justice field isn't a bad idea to go along with my education. I already have a job, but was looking to make more money on the side. I would sacrifice the extra money for an internship that would look good on a resume. I'm probably looking more along the lines of a part-time office job where I can collect references. I'm unsure as to where to start my search. Law offices? Police stations? I don't have any degrees under my belt so it needs to be entry level. Would even a job at a library be helpful for future knowledge in research and investigations (not necessarily for looking good on a resume but just for helping myself out?) Any advice?

  • Answer:

Try your County Crime Lab sometimes they offer internships.
