What should I expect at a Job interview?

What should i expect for my first job interview?

• I applied to dairy queen and they called and set up an interview with me for tomorrow. What should I expect? This is my first real job. And would it look good to wear my school uniform to show i go to a good school?

  You should always dress one level above the job you're applying for. Maintain eye contact, smile occassionally, and don't twiddle your fingers and mostly try to RELAX....woosaah. If this is the job for you, then you'll get it. You don't have any experience and they know this so basically they will be trying to see if your personable. How will you mesh with coworkers? Do you listen? Can you count money and make change? I know that sounds silly but you'd be surprise how many times someone has shorted me of my change or gave me too much change. Don't babble when they ask you about yourself. Your introduction should be from 1-2 minutes long and not soung rehearsed. Also, be prepared to ask them questions it shows that you are familiar with the company and you didn't just walk off the street looking for a job. Be honest! Did I say maintain soft eye contact..don't look like you have to poo...seriously.It could look like your lying. If you belong to any clubs in school, share that, especially if you hold a title: secretary, president....it credits your character. Also, if you have a decent GPA, share that because it shows that your smart and a good learner. Go to a couple of websites to see what kind of questions you should expect and what traps not to fall into. Good Luck tomorrow! :D
