Would my chances be better since I have more job experiences?

Will a nose piercing (stud) affect my chances of getting a job in the future?

  • When i'm older I really want to be a math professor, but right now at the age of 14 (it would be the day I turned 15 that I would get the piercing) I would like to get a nose piercing- just one of the tiny studs. I want to know if this would hinder my chances of getting the job I want in the future? I wouldn't think so but I don't want to risk it. Then again by then I could probably just take the piercing out during work so also is the hole noticeable? So, in your opinion/experiences would a nose piercing (only a small stud) affect my chance of getting the job I want and if so is the hole left really that noticeable?

    No not really. I know a few people with a nose piercing, and they all have very good jobs.

No it wont effect. But if the school is strict, you might have to take it out

The hole left when you take out the tiny studs is hardly noticeable. I've had mine done for about 7 yrs now. And it shouldn't affect your chances of getting that kind of job, I've had teachers with piercings all over the face.

A lot of work places have rules against noticeable tattoos and piercings, especially if you work in customer service. However with a small stud, if you just took it out it probably wouldn't pose much of a problem. Also they make clear plastic studs. Basically, a piercing isn't as big of a deal as a tattoo.
