Would a 4.3l vortec v6 fit a 94 firebird?

I believe the V6 option that year was the 3.4L. That was basically a special RWD version of a transverse FWD motor. The later V6 option was the 3800 and it was the same deal in that it was specially made to fit the RWD F bodies. I think the F body was the only car that did that so the only easy V6 engines to fit would be one that came from one of those cars. Since many people out V8's in you may be able to pick up a V6 from someone doing a swap. The 4.3 was basically a 5.7 V8 missing 2 cylinders so other than being shorter in length shares all the same mounts and such with the V8's. I have not worked on enough F bodies that late to know if the shorter length would cause issues or not. You would need a V8 transmission, exhaust, wiring harness and some other bits like that.
