How can I access my school network from my macbook?

Can school access your social network accounts?

    So many variables. The short answer is a definite YES for two reasons: 1.) There's a good chance the computer still houses enough material to log onto your account not to mention the internet traffic is monitored by the school server. 2.) They (the local state AND federal government) have unrestricted access to all internet activity Your real question, the one I think you want answered is: "are they going to access your account?" The answer is most likely a big "No". "Why?" you ask. They really don't care to have the information. Unless you did something illegal or have an increased concern for your private information above the normal human being you are of zero interest in their eyes and it's just too much trouble. If you would like more technical feedback on the possibilities and logistics of HOW they can obtain your information feel free to amend your question with specific information like type of computer system, hardware, network accessibility, encryption, what browser you used, what country and state you reside etc and I am sure someone will most definitely provide you with a more specific answer. Yes if they have keylogging software or monitor webuse. If you logged into a personal account using school id it makes it all the more easier to go on

They can see all network traffic. By logging in through they're computers, they have knowledge of when you logged in and where.

They can do just about anything they want, to protect the children under there protection. Do I think they do this often, not all the time. But they are required to keep records since they are running servers. I'll tell you like I tell everyone Don' put anything on the internet that you don't want the world to know because they can. Freedom of privacy doesn't exist in public forums.
