Questions about college scholarships?

I don't know what to do with College?

  • I am a Junior going into my senior year. My GPA is currently 3.643 but I am working on pulling it up even higher my Senior year. My SAT scores aren't great(1430) but I'm planning on taking it at least 2-3 more times my Senior year. Once I graduate college I want to be an OBGYN. I am not certain what college I want to go to. My top choice is UGA but they are extremely expensive so my back up schools are Georgia State or Georgia Southern. I will be in state. Neither of my parents went to college like that so they don't know much to help me. I need to know how to research different scholarships etc. So my questions are, "Where should I research scholarships? How do I get scholarships? Which college YOU think I should go to? What am I supposed to major/minor in for the occupation that I plan on pursuing?" any other information you choose to give me is much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Other answers

Speak with a college counselor at your school. Most medical professions require extensive bio/life sci. Find the professional association (every field has one) for your desired profession and talk to them about your higher education prospects.
