Is is possible to have two careers?

All through life I have been told to get a career that I am extremely passionate for. And that being teaching. I want to teach high school in an inner city, but I know that teachers don't make that much money. I also want to be an asset manager because I know they make good money, but how could I possibly have two careers. Can I have two careers? Please help. I really want to be a teacher but an asset manager at the same time.

My dad was a high school English teacher, surf coach, Trader Joe's worker, and taught night classes at a community collage all at the same time.... don't tell me it's not possible.
